This is incredible. I been a closet seamstress for years but haven't been into it lately. You've inspired me to get out my brand new sewing machine (got it for my birthday last year) and put it to good use. I'm always thrifting and thinking of what I could make out of some of the stuff I see. Now I'm just going to do it!!! Fun with sewing...I love it!

ReplyDeleteYou are incredibly talented!! I have the sewing machine, every color thread, and the drive, but I don't have the vision (like the dress with the puffy sleeves you made beautiful) when I go to thrift stores...what should I look for clothing that I plan to transform????

DeleteThanks for the nice message. I alway always look for fabric (laces, texture, crochet, prints..). Even a simple silhouette will work if you have amazing textures, laces, etc.
