About

A DIY gal since I was a girl...learned to sew in middle school and immediately started making my own designs. Started Trash to Couture to share my sewing projects with a glimpse of the before and after process.  I also include one-of-a-kind DIY sewing tutorials. I hope to inspire and share ideas to provide a less wasteful approach to the mass-produced fashion mainstream.

Most my items are either donated from my family or thrifted finds.
The finished items are either donated, recycled again, sold, or saved for special occasions.

  31. Could you do a DIY on a denim dress or an acid wash denim romper? I have always wanted one, have a bunch of jeans and would like to do something with them. I also find that in stores i can't find cheap one or fit my curvy body. It would be awesome if you could!
