Pillow Cases Turned Dress

Supplies: Vintage Slip for liner ($2 -$5)
Crochet pillow cases (thrift find: $5.00 for set!)



One of the best places to look for pretty fabrics is in the the linen section at the thrift store. This set of pillow cases became a perfect dress paired with a vintage slip as the liner.

  6. I have 2 sets of crochet pillowcases that I've been wanting to try this (and similar ideas) with, very lovely! Also, for fall, it would look real pretty over a matching long sleeve (or neutral tone), some knitted tights, then a nice pair of boots! Love your work!

  7. I was wondering where you found the slips for only 5 dollars. I was looking online and all of them ended up being 20 dollars or more.

  8. I have that exact set of pillowcases! I got them for $2.50 at a thrift store. Wasn't sure what to do with them, but now I am thinking shirt!!

  15. Hi, just found your blog! You do some beautiful things. My grand daughter would be beautiful in the crochet pillow case dress. You appear to be on the "tiny" side and petite....my grand daughter is at least 5'9" and probably wears a 10-12.if she would admit it. :)) Thank you for considering my comment.
